MegaBus Knoxville to D.C review :)

As most of you know, I was beyond excited when I heard that Knoxville was going to become a hub for one of the "china town like" bus lines. I checked out the whole website and saw that I could get 4 round trip tickets from Knox to D.C for only 14 dollars plus a .50 service charge. This was definitely a deal I could not pass up, after checking out some hotel prices I decided that I HAD to buy these tickets. On the day of my trip I arrived at the Knoxville bus station (which is brand new btw) about an hour early just to be sure I wouldn't miss it. MegaBus arrived right on time, we all formed a line and put our own luggage in the stow-a-way on the bottom of the bus. Remember this is a no frills bus, but who can't load their own luggage? So after the driver checked our tickets we boarded on a first come first serve basis. There was only abt 20 people on the bus so most everyone had their own row which was nice because we got to stretch out and sleep since we were on the night ride. We pulled out exactly on time and drove straight through to Wytheville, VA and stopped at a Flying J truck stop. I LOVE truck stop food, and this one had hot food including pizza and corn dogs! After a 20 min break we got back on the bus and continued to Christiansburg where we picked up a few other passengers. Off to DC we went. We arrived in DC exactly on time. The trip home was just as the first, we loaded our own luggage and had a row to ourselves. We dropped some passengers off in Christiansburg and this time when we stopped at flying j the burger king and subway next to it was open and we could eat there if we chose. We got a bit longer this time to eat and still got back almost an hour and a half early. But it was snowing on the way up so we slowed down a lot. To sum this up I'm already planning my next megabus trip. You CAN'T beat it!
